MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – With its first home match set for this Sunday, Nov. 18, the West Virginia University wrestling team’s promotional schedule has been released.

The season opener against Penn State is designated as “Camper Day”, with all previous attendees of WVU wrestling camps (8th grade and under) able to earn free admission to the match.

West Virginia University faculty & staff will be invited to attend the Jan. 25 contest against Rutgers free of charge on WVU Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night.

On Jan. 26, when the Mountaineers take on Iowa State, the match is designated as a Dollar Day, with all tickets, hot dogs, popcorn and Coca-Colas available for purchase for just $1.

For the Beauty and the Beast match against Ohio on Feb. 10, admission also will be $1.

WVU closes out the home season with Senior Night against Edinboro on Feb. 23.

The Mountaineer Ticket Office is offering a Varsity Sports Flex Plan, a bargain for families who plan on attending a WVU varsity sporting event. Flex plan packages are available for just $20. A package provides 10 general admission tickets that can be used at any of these sporting events: baseball, gymnastics and wrestling.

Flex plan packages can be purchased online at WVUGAME.com, by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or by stopping by the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the WVU Coliseum.
