MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Two sports legends finally meet. West Virginia University greats Pat White and Major Harris spent some time together Saturday afternoon before West Virginia’s Gold-Blue Spring Game at Milan Puskar Stadium.

The two were introduced by local photographer Dale Sparks.

“I didn’t realize that they had never met before,” Sparks said. “I figured I better get them together and get a picture of them. When they first met they both said to each other, ‘You the man!’”

Harris and White were among several Mountaineer players in attendance at Saturday’s spring game. WVU Coach Bill Stewart has made it a prerogative to have as many WVU players from the West Virginia family return to campus as possible.
